Commissions and boat sales

It turns out that if you build a lot of boats, you end up with a few left over! Our student-built craft are often available for sale at very reasonable prices. Usually we work on the basis that the participants have paid for the boat to be built so we are only looking to recoup the material costs of the boats plus any costs associated with finishing the boats. This means that a brand new caravelle usually comes in at around £1,200.

As we only teach about 10 courses a year we often have space to fit other projects around our teaching, if you have a boat that needs work or have a boat in your minds eye that you want created we’d love to chat about carrying out commercial work for you. We often have at least 1 commission going on in the background of our other activity.
